In The Pipeline

Halt’s upcoming novel takes place in 1950s West Virginia and tells the story of a lonely farm woman who finds new purpose in life by taking in her five-year-old granddaughter after the girl’s parents die in a car crash. But her fear of the Devil and her superstitious forebodings soon put them both in mortal danger. Expect gripping action, sinister imagery, and another mesmerizing female.

Halt is also planning to return to Amanda’s adventures in the 80s German art world in a new thriller. This one is inspired by the pre-Raphaelite artist Edward Burne-Jones’ painting “The Depths of the Sea,” which depicts a beautiful mermaid luring sailors to a watery grave. Stay tuned.
